Bar Olympics 2024
Welcome to the Bar Olympics at the Flying Goose Lounge.
Team Rules:
- Team rosters must have a set number of 4 players, with no gender requirement. "Free agents" can fill out teams with fewer than 4 players. "Free agents" will be assigned by Flying Goose management.
- Each game must be played by the required number of players, with players alternating between games. Every player present must play in at least one game.
- Players cannot substitute for each other during a round. Substitutions can only be made after a round is complete.
- All players must be registered with Flying Goose Bar Olympics and paid in full before playing.
- Unregistered substitutes are not allowed, and teams playing with unregistered players will forfeit the event.
Game Rules:
- Cornhole is played in single elimination format with teams of 2 and 10-minute games.
- Beer Pong is played in single elimination format with teams of 2 following standard Beer Pong rules.
- Flip Cup is played in double elimination format with teams of 4 racing to drink and flip cups.
- Quarters is played in single elimination format with 1 player from each team continuing until 1 player is left standing
Officiating:
- All questions about rule play will be directed to the Bar Manager or Lead Bartender.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in ejection from the event.
Equipment:
All equipment, including boards and sandbags, will be provided by the Flying Goose.
Forfeits:
Teams must be ready to play at the posted game time. Failure to be ready will result in a forfeit, with the opposing team taking a default win.
Participants must familiarize themselves with these rules to ensure fair play and a fun experience during the event.
Registration Fee:
- Each player participating in the event must pay a registration fee of $25. This fee must be paid in full before the event.
- Teams must ensure that all players are registered and have paid the registration fee before competing in the games.
Grand Prize Allocation:
All registration fees collected from participants, amounting to $25 per person, will be pooled together and allocated towards the grand prize of the Bar Olympics event.
The total registration fee pool will be awarded to the winning team or teams as the grand prize after the event, as determined by the Flying Goose Management.
